In early December 2014, I had the chance to visit Colorado. It was the first time I was back since we moved in 2012. I created Metamorphosis for the Grand Hyatt's lobby in downtown Denver, Colorado, in 2013 and shipped it there to be installed by professional installers. How exciting it was to finally see it in person in situ! It's a huge piece - 51 handcarved knots, over 10'H x 14'W. Many thanks to all my friends who stopped in after its install in 2013 and sent me photos! You know who you are and I'm super grateful!

I stopped by recently to photograph Beginning on location at Vincent Urban Walker Insurance in WI. Good friends and collectors Dave and Michelle Anderson purchased this piece after seeing it in Los Angeles at the Craft and Folk Art Museum solo exhibition of my work in 2008. It was great to see it in their meeting space.

Jennifer Falck Linssen: Black Hills and Badlands Research Trip
...just had to throw this one in to make this page look a
little less serious. When I get the chance - preferably twice a year - I set off
on a research trip in my little Airstream. On this particular trip, I spent a
great deal of time in the Badlands of South Dakota researching imagery and design
for the development of my Crevasse, Crack, and Canyon Series.
